Limestone County Tire Recycling Program

By on December 8, 2015

PLEASE NOTE:  Athens-Limestone Recycling Center DOES NOT ACCEPT TIRES.  A small number may be taken to the Limestone County Transfer Station for disposal.

Fortunately, the Limestone County Commission has received a grant that allows for tires to be collected at each of the four county garages.  Tires may be taken to these locations for the duration of the grant.  There is no charge.  The grant covers the expense.

If you have questions about tire recycling or hours of operation,  please call your district commissioner or the County Commission office at 256-233-6400.
